The project aims to explore and analyse the effects the use of GIS has for participation, cooperation and conflict, as well as to identify whether using GIS has enhanced learning processes regarding the substantial issues at stake.

The applied and constructive aspects of the projects is to identify conditions under which the use of GIS will stimulate broad participation in planning processes.
