Research topics
Vognild's interest is in net-centric computing in general, and in recent year's distributed and mobile services for wired and wireless networks, and personal e-health and wellness systems.
Tasks
In addition to doing research and development he is director of the ICT research department.
CV
Lars K. Vognild received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 1990 from the University of Tromsø.
He has done net-centric computer science research at Norut ever since, except for the period 1993-1998 when he lived in the Netherlands and worked on various multimedia and distributed systems research projects at the University of Twente.
Vognild has been Research Director at Norut since 2003.
