We will evaluate the potential for all business ideas that we receive and we will give tips on how to improve the idea.

The project manager in Norinnova have long experience from evaluating business ideas and establishing companies, and they can quickly give advise to researchers and entrepreneurs on how to improve and develop the idea, potential pitfalls and partners. We can also assist banks, public organizations and investors with evaluating ideas.

What we look for

Norinnova is especially on the lookout for ideas from innovative businesses and research institutes in northern Norway that would like to develop their ideas to a product or service with international potential .

To invest more effort and money into an idea, it must:

• be a radical innovation or be base on a disruptive technology
• have strong growth potential
• have lasting competitive advantages
• have a foothold in northern Norway.
• and the entrepreneurs must have peronal motivation, ability and competence to succed with the idea.

We are especially interested in ideas in the following domains:

• ICT solutions where the region have advantages due to R&D competence or resources.
• New technology or concepts for marine industries.
• Product or services from the regions marine-, medical or biotech industry.
• Energy
